iBooks Update Due Date and Two New Tools for E-textbooks


In my last post  I mentioned improvements to Apple’s iBooks app. A new version of iBooks should be ready June 21, when iOS 4 is released. Meanwhile, if you want to improve the PDF reading experience on your iPad now, try GoodReader or CloudReaders or Fast PDF

Related item: As part of a faculty development session on the iPad I led a few months ago, we discussed the potential of two new tools. Though not yet available, they offer the promise of rich media and interactivity within textbooks.
