iPad Rollout at Long Island University Cited as Largest iPad Deployment So Far


As you know, I try to keep tabs on iPad projects and initiatives at colleges and universities. Long Island University has been mentioned before. Eric Lai, a blogger for ZDNet, now reports that L.I.U.s massive deployment of 6,000 iPads to students and faculty makes it the biggest in higher education. The university’s CIO predicts as many as 12,000 tablet computers will be in use by this time next year. Find the story here.
