University Expands Initial iPad Rollout

Long Island University’s Brooklyn Campus recently expanded its initial iPad pilot program. All full-time incoming freshmen and undergraduate transfer students received iPads at the start of the fall semester at no cost. The university is now offering iPads at a discount to full-time students who did not qualify for the initial pilot. Sophomores, juniors, and seniors will pay $250 for an iPad with the university underwriting the rest of the purchase.
